Charming little guy ... expressive face with a classic moustache. 

The piece is signed with a mark I do not recognize. Don't strain your eyes on the picture of the mark on the opposite leg ... even under 60 power glass I could not get a good fix on a good guess. Could be a copyright C in a circle underneath the closeup picture of the mark "D A M AA" 

The adjustable wooden block base fell off behind my hard to move desk as I was putting the piece back on the shelf. No problem ... the base needed to be twisted for balance to hold the piece which is built around a steel rod with one inch (3/4") sticking out the bottom for insertion in the wood block. If you are handy you can get a new base suitable for your tastes and I will knock of $25. If not I will have a new base done locally before shipment. Your choice?  Personally, I think a marble base would be great and I may just do that and change this listing.

Johnny weighs in at approx. five (5) pounds. I am listing him as bronze but in areas such as the top of his head it looks like a bright copper color. Nice green patina in places.
