This is a hand carved, floral pattern wooden trinket box with a white bone inlay
This is a C1970s hand carved Sheesham wood box from the Himalayan jungle in India. 
"Indian carvers produced approximately three of these a day. It has been carved with a lovely floral design on five sides with bone inlay on the lid. The inside is lined with dark blue velvet that is framed with thin slats of wood and hand stitched in place. It has brass hinges and a nailed bottom." ... 
It's still in excellent condition and measures: 6" x 4" x 2 1/2".
